In addition to teaching both photography and bookmaking, she became very active in the art community of Detroit, making many life-long friends. She has lectured at numerous museums and galleries, taught a variety of workshops and has had her work exhibited across America and worldwide. Susan kae Grant's work is represented in many collections, including The Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, the J. Paul Getty Museum, The International Center for Photography in NYC and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
